For those purchasing an ERP system for the first time, it would be in your best interest to learn how easily it will be to learn the functionality of the system and how easily your team will be able to train on it. Training can cost money and time, so be sure you not only have the resources, but are willing to spend the resources.

Service/Support

Something else you need to be aware before changing or purchasing your ERP system is the service you receive after purchasing. If you run into a software issue or the tools you need stop functioning, how will the company you purchased from support you? Do they have a help desk? Can they help your remotely or on-site? Look into these types of things before actually making a purchase.
