LEADERSHIP · INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA
The people behind Diverse Tech Services
A team that spent years building and securing technology for large enterprises, now bringing that same standard to the businesses that make up Indiana and the Midwest.
Meet the DTS leadership team
Four people accountable for the work, each leading the part of DTS they know best. The companies in our histories are context, not the point. If you want the full record, the links will take you there.

Joe Ehlers
CEO and Managing Director
Joe has spent more than twenty years leading software delivery, cloud modernization, and product work across automotive manufacturing, critical infrastructure, and technology. That work taught him the difference between motion and progress, what actually moves a number a business owner cares about and what just looks busy. He builds on the ideas of the thinkers who came before, turns them into systems people can use, and holds the team to outcomes you can feel. He also builds software ventures of his own, which keeps his hands in the craft he asks the team to master.

Ashwin Shukla
CTO and CISO
Ashwin has spent twenty-five years in the engine room of enterprise technology, modernizing the systems that banks, manufacturers, and software companies run on. He thinks in systems and reliability: how data moves, where integration quietly breaks, and what it takes to make a complex environment hold under real load. As CTO and CISO he sets the technical and security standard for DTS and the businesses we protect, pairing deep engineering judgment with a plain answer to the question every owner asks, is this safe and will it work. He is happiest reducing a risk before anyone knew it was there.
Scott Rheinlander
VP of Business Development
Scott has built his career over twenty-five years in sales and operations work across the technology industry. He leads with listening. The job of sales, as he sees it, is to understand what a business is trying to do and then help it get there. That instinct is why he joined DTS, a Midwest firm that believes in its people and the good we can do for others. Success is measured by problems solved, not deals closed.

Maxwell Walling
Director of Service Delivery
Max runs how the work actually gets done at DTS, from onboarding a new client to the daily standards that keep their systems secure and steady. He came up through IT project management, county government, and the United States Marine Corps, where he led teams supporting more than five hundred users, and he brings that operational discipline to every account. He is process-minded without being rigid, the standard exists to serve the client, not the other way around. When something runs quietly and well, that is usually Max.
Why we do this work
The leadership at Diverse Tech Services came up inside large enterprises, the kind of environments where a single overlooked detail can stop a manufacturing line, expose sensitive data, or quietly cost a company its reputation. We learned, often the hard way, what actually makes technology dependable and what just looks impressive in a slide deck.
We do not claim to have invented how good work gets done. We ground ourselves in the work of the people who came before us, the engineers, operators, and thinkers who gave the gift of their knowledge, and we treat our job as turning those lessons into real value for a business. Reverent about the source, humble about ourselves, and relentlessly practical about the payoff. That is how we think, and it is how we run DTS.
What we kept noticing is that the small and mid-size businesses we live among rarely get access to that level of discipline. The enterprise-grade playbook tends to stay locked up inside enterprises. We started this chapter of Diverse Tech Services to change that, to bring serious security, modern systems, and practical AI within reach of a company that does not have a hundred-person IT department, and to stand behind the work the way a local partner should.
We are thrilled to bring everything we have learned to Indianapolis and the surrounding Midwest. The people below are who you would actually work with, and the philosophy above is the one we hold the work to.
